Jon Hall wins Newcomer Award at SHAPA Industry Awards 2024

Congratulations to our own Jon Hall for being nominated and winning the Newcomer Award 2024 at the Solids Handling and Processing Association (SHAPA) AGM & Awards event on Wednesday 17th April 2024 at the Maritime Museum, Liverpool.

The Newcomer Award is awarded to an individual who has contributed to a member company/organisation or developed significantly in the field of bulk solids handling, contribution(s) in areas such as sales, design, innovation, apprenticeship or further studies that has/have greatly benefited themselves, their company or organisation.

SHAPA posted the following on Linkedin following the event….

Industry Newcomer Award WINNER: Jon Hall – British Rema Processing, Equipment & Rotary Engineering “After studying Mechanical Engineering, Jon joined British Rema in April 2022 as a Sales Engineer. As Jon was new to the industry, he was initially supporting the commercial manager at the time and after only 8-months his mentor announced it was time to retire, and despite Jon only being in his mid-twenties, he took on the challenge. In addition, Jon has also taken responsibility for some of the installation and commissioning of projects and has also signed up to study Chemical Engineering at Hallam University.”
