Rotary Kiln training for CRH Europe

British Rema Rotary Engineering recently provided Mechanical Maintenance of Rotary Kiln training to delegates from CRH Europe at their Moravacem plant in Serbia.

19 delegates from 8 CRH plants located across Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Serbia, and Spain came together at their Moravacem plant for the classroom and onsite training.

Centralised, one location training, not only reduces costs but also provides the ability for engineers to share experiences and ideas between their colleagues and respective plants.

Subject areas covered during the training included daily maintenance, walkround inspections, shell condition & ovality, tyres & rollers, kiln alignment methodology and roller adjustment & skewing.

Overall, the event was a great success and provided the delegates with an insight into kiln maintenance theory and best practices, arming them with thoughts and ideas to implement into their everyday maintenance routines.
